Eczema is something I had vaguely heard of before my three daughters were born, but I didn’t fully grasp what the skin condition was until all three of my daughters experienced it. While eczema can range from mild to severe, it is an aggravating condition at any level. My middle daughter has had the unfortunate daily struggle with this at a more severe level as it effects over half of her body’s skin. We have tried numerous products that claim to treat eczema however most just help temporarily or not at all. Topical steroid creams have become a regular part of her skin routine and because I would much prefer a more natural treatment, I am always on the lookout for new and innovative products. Gladskin Eczema Cream is one of those new products that is a game changer.
Gladskin Eczema Cream is completely different from any other cream we have tried in the past. Daily moisturizing is key with eczema so the skin barrier is fully protected and remains intact. Gladskin Eczema Cream is a moisturizer that not only protects the skin but also rebalances the skin’s natural microbiome. In other words, the cream balances the good and bad bacteria that naturally live on the skin. When these are out of balance they can cause flares of eczema, itchiness, redness, and discomfort. The cream is able to achieve this balance with it’s patented smart protein Micreobalance®. Because this cream works naturally with the skin’s microbiome and does not contain steroids, it can be used as often as you would like and there are no withdrawal symptoms if you discontinue use.
I love that Gladskin Eczema Cream is free of all the irritants that can aggravate eczema like drying alcohols, fragrances, parabens, sulfates, and preservatives. Another thing my daughter likes about this cream is that it absorbs quickly and doesn’t leave behind any oily residue. It applies easily and within 5 minutes of smoothing onto problem areas, it locks in moisture leaving skin feeling clean and soft. The cream should be used at least twice a day and can take up to three weeks for results as it works to restore the skin’s microbiome. We have seen an improvement with use however my daughter was one of the rare cases that had an increase in eczema symptoms for the first week of use. This is typically a mild increase and is due to the cream re-establishing and rebalancing the skins microbiome (it shows the cream is hard at work!). We are very happy overall with this product and it’s benefits of being a non toxic and holistic option for long term treatment of eczema. It’s gentle formula can be used anywhere on the body, including the face, and as much or as little as needed can be applied which really simplifies my daughter’s skin routine.
Gladskin has an entire line of products that are microbiome balancing including Face Wash, Body Wash, and Shampoo Bars. The products can be purchased on Gladskin’s site here. Save 10% on your order on gladskin.com with promo code GLADMOM10.
