Workbook time for my daughters, especially over summer break, is not something they typically look forward to. However this all changed when we started TinkerActive Science and Math Workbooks! They now can’t wait for workbook time and love completing the activities. TinkerActive Workbooks are unique to other workbooks in that they include bright and colorful pages loaded with age appropriate fun exercises along with interactive tinkering projects that build on your child’s skills. The combination of educational exercises with hands on play and projects, keeps my girls engaged, attentive and wanting to continue to come back to the workbooks.

TinkerActive Workbooks are curriculum based and align with common core state standards so your child will be on track with their school grade level. The books feature fun characters and illustrations on each page with a variety of activities so your child will never get bored doing repetitive exercises. After your child completes a few pages of exercises they are led to an interactive engineering project. Projects are simple to complete with easy instructions and only require basic household items. These fun activities are what my daughters can’t wait for since they get to create something fun that goes along with their lesson. My girls do not think of the exercises as schoolwork since they love to tinker and create something new. Each book has a collectible magnetic merit badge at the end of the book as a special reward for completing the book. This is a fun little addition that my girls can’t wait to receive once the finish out their books.

TinkerActive Workbooks are available in grades K-2 and are available in math, science, and english. The books typically retail for $12.99 and are available for purchase wherever books are sold. To buy online, visit
