There is no doubt that back to school is one of the busiest times of the year. Getting little ones ready for another year in school can mean quite a few shopping days to purchase all the required school supplies and clothing. After my daughters begin school, family life becomes even more busy with work schedules, early morning bus stops, after school sports, and homework help. All of these things packed into one day means I need to be sure I start my day off right.

One way I ensure a good day is through a wholesome breakfast. Breakfast during the week has to be simple and able to be consumed on the go. Smoothies are my go to as they can be made in under 5 minutes and are loaded with protein and nutrients through whole fruits and vegetables. My favorite add-ins for smoothies are superfoods like kale, berries, and chia seeds along with my top choice for a liquid base, Silk® Unsweetened Vanilla Almondmilk. I also occasionally add in protein powder, collagen peptides, and nut butter. Silk® Almondmilk is my top choice for non-dairy milk because it not only has the most delicious taste but also is an excellent source of calcium and has zero grams of sugar. Additionally it is free of dairy, lactose, gluten, cholesterol, casein, egg, MSG, and artificial colors/flavors and has been verified by the Non-GMO Project’s product verification program. Silk® Unsweetened Vanilla Almondmilk is now available in shelf stable 4-pack bottles. These convenient 4-pack bottles are amazing because you can take Silk®’s delicious almondmilk wherever your day may lead you and they taste just the same as the refrigerated version! They can easily fit into a lunch box, purse, diaper bag or car cup holder.

The 4-pack shelf stable bottles can also be found in another tasty variety, Silk® Almondmilk and Cashewmilk with Caramel. This rich and decadent flavor hits the spot when you want to reach for a sweet and satisfying treat. This drink contains all the benefits of Silk® Unsweetened Vanilla Almondmilk with just 80 calories per serving. The new Silk® 4-Pack shelf stable bottles can be found at Walmart on the Juice/Boxed Juice aisle. One of my favorite smoothie recipes is this Energizing Blueberry Superfood Smoothie. This dairy free recipe is the perfect way to jumpstart your morning as it is packed with vitamins/nutrients and antioxidants. The smoothie makes about 16 oz which can either be 1 large serving or serve 2. Add a chopped protein bar or grain-free granola clusters to top it off and enjoy!

This sounds so good. I always make the same smoothies over and over again. It gets boring. This just sounds so yummy. I will be trying this for sure!
