I recently decided to create this tasty treat for my family with Angie’s BOOMCHICKAPOP Sea Salt popcorn and the taste was amazing! The vegan caramel tastes just like traditional caramel and the chocolate adds an extra indulgence to the popcorn.
Vegan Caramel Chocolate Popcorn
8 cups Angie’s BOOMCHICKAPOP Sea Salt Popcorn
1/4 cup Brown Rice Syrup
2 Tbsp Almond Butter
1/2 Tbsp Unsweetened Almond Milk
Pinch of Sea Salt
1/2 cup Non-Dairy Chocolate Chips
1 tsp Coconut Oil
Spread the popcorn in a single layer on a large cookie sheet lined with parchment paper. In a medium saucepan over medium heat combine the the brown rice syrup, almond butter, milk, and sea salt. Stir constantly for about 2-3 minutes and then pour evenly over popcorn. Rinse and clean saucepan and then add 1/2 cup chocolate chips along with coconut oil. Stir constantly until melted. Drizzle over popcorn. Serve immediately and enjoy!
