Are you pregnant, nursing, or planning for a baby and searching for a whole-food based prenatal supplement? The Honest Company has recently introduced just that and they are packed with all of the recommended vitamin and minerals. The Honest Company Prenatal Vitamins have so many great features that make them unique and one of my favorite natural options!

*Healthy Probiotics: Made with 1.5 billion beneficial (CFU) live probiotics

*Real Food Nutrients: Wholesome organic fruits and vegetables are used to formulate the vitamins to ensure optimal absorption.

*Doctor Formulated and Recommended: Honest relies on a team of experts to ensure a healthy start with a premium formulation of carefully chosen, fresh, whole food-based ingredients – vitamins, minerals, botanicals, antioxidants, probiotics, and superfoods.

*Researched-Based Potencies: High potency folic acid, Vitamin D, iron, and B-complex

*No Upset Stomach: Ginger and Vitamin B6 help to prevent nausea. I have found that this vitamin has not caused me any digestive stress, nausea, or upset stomach. I even take all 3 daily pills on an empty stomach!

*Pleasant Taste: Revolutionary coating helps mask odors and flavors. Before discovering The Honest Company prenatal vitamin, I took another popular brand of a whole-food based vitamin which had an almost unbearable odor. I was very happy and surprised by how well The Honest Company vitamins tasted. I actually found them taste and smell similar to oatmeal cookies!

*Pure and Unadulterated: Free of commonly found binders, fillers, allergens, pesticides, and contaminants including gluten, soy, yeast, wheat, casein, gelatin, sodium, dairy, eggs, shellfish, sweeteners/HFCS, artificial flavors, starch, dyes, preservatives, arsenic, cadmium, lead, mercury & common nut allergens

The only aspects that I find to be somewhat of a downside to these vitamins are the cost and that 3 pills need to be taken each day. The cost of the vitamins is $39.95 for a 90 tablet bottle. While this is a higher cost than most prenatal vitamins, I feel it is worth paying since they are of such high quality. The recommended dosage of The Honest Company Prenatal Vitamins is 3 tablets per day. While I found this to be less than ideal at first, it really doesn’t bother me that much anymore. I take all 3 at once with a large glass of water but you could also spread them out during the day if you choose.

I absolutely love these vitamins and hope you love them too. To have a whole-food based, GMO-free vitamin with a pleasant taste that causes no GI distress is everything I could ask for in a prenatal. Ready to learn more or purchase- head over here to get started!

Do you know of a vitamin that is similar to this one? I’ve been taking this one for several months and now they are out of stock online so I’m searching for something that is comparable.

Great review, thanks for the tips. One of my favorite pieces is the taste. Some vitamins can be unbearable, especially afterward.
