What better way to start off the new year than with a grocery savings cycle showing you exactly what’s on sale each month to help you save $$! Match your coupons up to your grocery store’s predictable sales and you will be able to stock up your pantry and feed your family for much less!

January

National Oatmeal Month
Post Holiday Items: Look out for any food items with holiday packaging as these will likely be at a largely discounted down price for fast sale.
Superbowl: Snack items in general including crackers, pretzels, chips, salsa/dips, salad dressings, ketchup, mustard, cheese, wings, and sandwich items.
Diet Foods
Seasonal: Soup, Household Cleaners, Cold Medicines, Vitamins

February

National Canned Food Month: Canned fruits and vegetables, pie fillings, and fish
National Hot Breakfast Month: Frozen pancakes/waffles, oatmeal, syrup
Valentine’s Day: Chocolates, baking mixes

March

Frozen Food Month: Frozen fruits/vegetables, frozen breakfast items (waffles/pancakes), frozen desserts (ice cream), and frozen meals/entrees
St. Patrick’s Day: Corned Beef, potatoes, cabbage

April

Easter: Baking items (sugar, mixes, flour, chocolate chips, pie crusts), ham, eggs

May

Memorial Day: Grilling meats, condiments, chips, dips, buns, marinades, beverages, paper products
Cinco De Mayo: Salsa, tortillas, beans

June

National Dairy Month: Eggs, milk, cream, cheese, butter, yogurt, ice cream
(Pre) Fourth of July Sales: BBQ items such as buns, grilling meats, condiments, paper products, chips, and dips

Baking Items: flour, sugar, cream, mixes, chocolate chips, evaporated and sweetened condensed milks
Canned Foods: Broths, soups, fruits and vegetables
