Tex Mex Skillet

January 14, 2013

This is a great basic recipe that is easy to make and delicious. It is also a recipe that you can personalize to add other similar ingredients to your preference. Sometimes I like to add corn, avocados, and jalapenos as well. Try it out and leave a comment below if you added something else interesting to the skillet!

1 Package Turkey Kielbasa (Chopped)
1 Green Pepper (Sliced)
1/4 Cup Onion (Chopped)
1 Can Black Beans
2-3 Tbsp Olive Oil

Cous-Cous or Rice
Sour Cream for topping

Heat skillet and add olive oil. Saute onion and pepper until tender, about 2 minutes. Mix in turkey kielbasa and (drained) black beans to skillet. Heat thoroughly for another couple minutes. Remove from heat and serve on top of rice or cous-cous with sour cream.
