For millions of people, including myself, the beautiful blooming flowers and warmer weather of spring also signifies the beginning of allergy season. Runny noses, sore throats, itchy/watery eyes are just a few of the symptoms seasonal allergy sufferers experience in the spring months. Fortunately there are several natural treatment methods that may prove to be effective before resorting to medication. Taking a spoonful of local honey each day, saline nasal spray, drinking a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar daily, and avoiding the outdoors during the highest exposure times (morning and mid-day) are just a few ways to decrease symptoms.
One thing I can’t live without during allergy season is tissues. I love Scotties Facial Tissues because they are super soft and don’t irritate my nose or eyes. Scotties Facial Tissues are hypoallergenic and made without inks or dyes. Additionally, they are available in several options depending on your needs: 2 ply (everyday use), 3 ply (extra strength), and aloe (for sensitive noses).
One of my favorite things about Scotties is their commitment to being environmentally responsible. Scotties tissues are certified by the Sustainable Forest Initiative meaning they take special measures including protecting water quality, biodiversity, wildlife habitat, and species at risk in forests. Furthermore, for every tree they use to produce Scotties products, they will plant three more trees. When purchasing a box of Scotties this allergy season, you can be certain you are supporting a company that values sustainability.
