I recently tried the nutty cranberry and southwest superfood salads and they tasted unbelievably fresh and savory! The way the salads are packaged greatly contributes to the crisp greens and fresh tasting ingredients. Each ingredient (i.e: nuts, seeds, vegetables, cheese, dressing) is in its own sealed compartment gently resting above the greens. This is also helpful if you are looking to avoid any specific ingredients in the salad, as you can easily just put aside anything included in the extra toppings. The serving size of these salads is generous and will definitely keep you full and satisfied until your next meal. Both salads were loaded with flavor and are an excellent protein-packed, omega 3- and 6- rich, vegetarian option for lunch or dinner!

–Meal Plan Each Week: This is huge! Each week I plan out every meal so that not only can I keep my grocery shopping organized and efficient but when it comes to mealtimes their is no guesswork involved or temptations to get unhealthy takeout. elevĀte salads are definitely going to become a regular part of my mealtime planning!
–Drink Plenty of Water: This is an obvious one, but sometimes it’s easy to forget to drink so I always keep a reusable water bottle closeby so that I can refill it as many times as I need throughout the day. It’s also easy to mistake thirst for hunger, so I always drink a glass of water before snacking to be sure I am not just thirsty.
–Plan and Pack Daily Snacks: Hunger can hit hard — especially in mid-morning or late-afternoon. Be prepared with protein rich snacks so that you are ready to refuel your body with nutritious foods and not quick, carbo loaded options. Below are a few of my favorites to keep on hand throughout the day: DIY trail mix (with all my favorite nuts), a handful of almonds, almond butter and apples, hummus and veggies, medjool dates (for those sweet cravings).
